Miryang National University(MNU) was established as a public
school(Miryang public school of agricultural sericulture)
in 1923 in Miryang, famous for traditional culture city.
The educational system was changed as college(Miryang National
College of agricultural sericulture) with four majors. Nowaday,
the university status come from endeavor for development
and transformation, including change the name to Miryang
National University of industry and Miryang National University
in 1993 and 1999, respectively. Today, the university is
comprised of 22 departments/majors, 1 specialized graduate
schools, 10 research institutes and other supporting facilities.
The Chunghak(Samrangjin) Campus, the main campus of the
university, will be open in 2004 and new environment for
education will be supported.
