Information and Communication Engineering is a combined discipline
of computing and communications which is leading the way in
our information-oriented society. This field is expanding
as a major part of the coming information industry, along
with the rapid development of electronic communication. It
is becoming increasingly important to represent information
effectively and process and transmit it in a very short time,
as the amount of information increases and becomes more complicated
and diverse. Therefore, the department aims at training excellent
engineers who are able to play a leading role in the future
of our information society through application of communications
engineering technology and theory based on computer and electronic
engineering.
