Architecture is a field of science that deals with architectural design and construction for various human activities. In recent years, the technology of land development and urban planning has advanced to a high degree and has developed into a large-scale and complex system. It is, therefore, essential that all architects and architectural engineers understand the impact of these changes on the actual human environment at both the global and regional levels. Considering such a background, the major consists of four sub-majors: Architectural Design and History, Construction Engineering, Environmental Design, and structural Engineering, The details are summarized as follows: Architectural Design field - study and research in planning theory and design, and architectural methods in a modern context; Construction and Structural Engineering fields - basic studies in the characteristics of materials such as steel, cement, aggregates, admixture, reinforced concrete, etc.; Environmental Design field - study of theories, technology, and architectural environments, and design processes for a better living environment for residents in a future urban society. What Architectural Engineering is "the profession in which a knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences, gained by study, experience, and practice, is applied with judgment to the development of ways to use, economically and safely, the materials and forces of nature in the engineering design and construction of building and their environmental systems."
