The educational mission and goal of the Department of Mechanical
Engineering is to train future engineers, scientists, and
leaders and educators of the industrial community, in the
fundamental and applied theory of machinery as required in
the industrial machinery and process engineering fields. Current
theories and methods concerning productivity, as well as professional
techniques for improved creative application, are taught in
this department. The emphasis is on a future mechanical industry
aimed at advanced and profitable advanced high-technology.
