The institute carries out the following activities:
the study of industrial science and technology, publications
of journals, the performance of studies and technical
services requested by external sources in industry,
and the training and counseling of technicians from
industry.

The major task of the ASTI is the research, development,
and utilization of agricultural science and technology
for the improvement of the local agricultural and farming
industries in the Kyong-nam area (located in the southern
part of Korea). Specifically, the ASTI's research and
activities cover the breeding of new varieties, cultivation
and management of agricultural crops and animals, development
of post-harvest technology, analysis of new agricultural
information, and farmer training and counseling. Through
these kinds of activities, the ASTI plays an important
role in promotion of the local Kyong-nam agriculture
industry.

The aim of the Institute is to contribute to the development
of the nation and community through the performance
of scientific study for the growth of construction technology.
The Institute carries out the following tasks: the development
and practical application of construction technology,
performance of technical services requested by external
sources, the issue of study publications, holding of
conferences, the undertaking of projects for the growth
of construction technology, and so on.

nations and local cities. The faculty consists of full-time
professors, researchers, and research staff.
